  • 6 Italian sausage links sweet or hot
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 bell peppers sliced
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp oregano
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 cup chicken broth or white wine

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Brown sausages on all sides, then remove temporarily.
  3. Sauté onions and peppers until tender.
  4. Add garlic and seasonings; cook until fragrant.
  5. Stir in broth and return sausages to skillet.
  6. Cover and simmer until sausages reach 160°F internal temperature.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
