- Heat olive oil in a large soup pot over medium heat.
- Add onion, carrots, and celery and cook until softened.

- Add remaining vegetables, herbs, and tomato paste.
- Pour in diced tomatoes and vegetable broth and bring to a simmer.
- Simmer for 15 minutes, then add beans and pasta.
- Cook until pasta is tender and season to taste.
