Ingredients
  

Brownie Batter
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 Large eggs room temperature
  • 2 tbsp Strong brewed coffee
  • 1/3 cup Cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
Caramel Swirl
  • 1/2 cup Caramel sauce homemade or store-bought

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs, vanilla, and brewed coffee. Mix until combined.
  4. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Gently fold until just combined.
  5. Pour half the batter into the pan, drizzle caramel sauce, and swirl lightly with a knife.
  6. Repeat with the remaining batter and caramel, creating ribbons.
  7. Bake for 35 minutes, until edges are set but center is slightly soft.
  8. Cool completely before slicing into squares.

Notes

For extra indulgence, drizzle additional caramel over cooled brownies before serving.
