Method
- Combine warm milk, warm water, sugar, and yeast in a large bowl. Let sit until foamy.
- Add egg, melted butter, and salt. Mix well.
- Gradually add flour until a soft dough forms.
- Knead dough until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in greased bowl and let rise until doubled in size.
- Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness and cut into rectangles.
- Place rolls on baking sheet and let rise again until puffy.
- Bake at 350°F for 12–15 minutes until lightly golden.
- Brush warm rolls with melted butter.
- Whip butter, honey, powdered sugar, and cinnamon together for the spread.
Notes
For extra soft rolls, avoid adding too much flour and allow full rising time. Serve warm with cinnamon honey butter.
