Ingredients
  

Butter Base
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • 0.5 tsp lemon zest
Seasoning
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes or more to taste
Fresh Herbs
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme optional

Method
 

  1. Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant, without browning.
  3. Whisk in Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Stir in lemon juice, zest, parsley, chives, and thyme.
  5. Serve warm as a dipping sauce or drizzle over meats and vegetables.

Notes

For a creamier texture, add 2 tablespoons heavy cream before serving.
