Cheese Ball Base
  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1.5 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
Mix-Ins & Coating
  • 6 slices crispy cooked bacon chopped
  • 0.75 cup pecans chopped and toasted
  • 3 green onions sliced
  • 0.5 cup extra shredded cheddar cheese for coating
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Beat softened cream cheese until smooth and fluffy in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Mix in cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, and smoked paprika until combined.
  3. Fold in half the bacon, half the green onions, and parsley.
  4. Shape mixture into a ball using plastic wrap and chill for 1 hour.
  5. Combine remaining bacon, pecans, cheddar, and herbs in a bowl.
  6. Roll chilled cheese ball in coating mixture until fully covered.
  7. Serve on a platter with crackers or vegetables.

Notes

Chilling is essential for structure and flavor blending. Best served slightly softened after refrigeration.
