Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough
  • 2.25 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs large
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp orange zest fresh
  • 1 tbsp orange juice
  • 1.25 cups dried cranberries chopped if large

Method
 

  1. Cream softened butter with granulated and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Mix in eggs, vanilla, orange zest, and orange juice.
  3. Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt separately, then add to wet ingredients.
  4. Fold in dried cranberries and chill dough for 30 minutes.
  5. Scoop dough balls onto parchment-lined baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes.
  6. Cool for 5 minutes on the sheet before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Chill dough for thicker cookies. Add white chocolate chips for extra sweetness.
