Ingredients
  

Bite Batter
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 0.5 cup orange juice fresh
Glaze
  • 1.5 cups cranberries fresh or frozen
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp orange juice
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together dry ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Cream butter and sugar, then add egg, zest, and vanilla.
  4. Alternate adding dry ingredients and orange juice until dough forms.
  5. Scoop dough onto baking sheet and bake until lightly golden.
  6. Simmer glaze ingredients, strain, and whisk in powdered sugar.
  7. Drizzle glaze over cooled bites and allow to set.

Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
