- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Beat butter and cream cheese until creamy, then add sugar and beat until fluffy.
- Mix in egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually add dry ingredients and mix until combined.
- Fold in chopped strawberries gently.
- Chill dough for 20–30 minutes before baking.
- Scoop dough onto sheets and bake 12–14 minutes or until edges are set.
- Cool completely on wire racks.
- Optional: drizzle with vanilla glaze once cooled.
