Ingredients
  

Chicken Base
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
Cream Sauce
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 cup milk
Topping
  • 2 cups herb-seasoned stuffing mix
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Arrange chicken breasts in the baking dish and season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Top chicken with Swiss cheese slices.
  4. Whisk together cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and milk until smooth.
  5. Pour sauce evenly over chicken.
  6. Sprinkle stuffing mix on top and drizzle with melted butter.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake an additional 15-20 minutes until golden and chicken is fully cooked.
  9. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For added flavor, include sautéed mushrooms or crispy bacon. This casserole can be assembled ahead and refrigerated before baking.
