Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz pasta penne or fettuccine
  • 1 lb chicken breast sliced
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 2 bell peppers sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.75 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning.
  3. Cook chicken in olive oil until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. Sauté onion and peppers in butter until softened.
  5. Add garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
  6. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Simmer gently.
  7. Stir in parmesan cheese until smooth.
  8. Add pasta and chicken back to skillet. Toss to coat and heat through.

Notes

Adjust Cajun seasoning to control spice level.
