Method
- Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve pasta water and drain.
- Brown sausage slices in a large skillet until caramelized. Remove and set aside.
- Melt butter in the same skillet and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add chicken broth and simmer briefly, scraping up browned bits.
- Stir in cream, Cajun seasoning, and paprika. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- Add Parmesan and stir until smooth.
- Return sausage and pasta to skillet and toss to coat.
- Adjust sauce with reserved pasta water if needed and serve.
