Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb cheese ravioli fresh or frozen
  • 1 lb Italian sausage casings removed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper diced
  • 1 green bell pepper diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning adjust to taste
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.25 tsp crushed red pepper flakes optional
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Mixing spoon
  • Saucepan

Method
 

  1. Cook ravioli according to package directions, drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and cook sausage until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add bell peppers to skillet and sauté for 3–4 minutes. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
  4. Add heavy cream, chicken broth, and seasonings. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until thickened.
  5. Return sausage to skillet and stir in ravioli. Toss until evenly coated.
  6. Add Parmesan and stir until melted. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Perfect served with garlic bread or salad. Adjust Cajun spice level to your preference.
