  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
Flavor Add-ins
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 0.5 tsp salt or to taste
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, combine sour cream and mayonnaise until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add chopped dill, chives, minced garlic, and lemon juice to the bowl.
  3. Stir well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper, adjusting to taste.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
  6. Stir again before serving and enjoy with vegetables, chips, or crackers.

Notes

For best flavor, always use fresh dill and allow the dip to chill before serving.
