Ingredients
  

Eggnog Filling
  • 1 cup white chocolate chopped
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 0.25 cup eggnog
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 tsp nutmeg freshly grated
  • 1 pinch salt
Chocolate Coating
  • 1.5 cups dark chocolate chopped
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil optional

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Heat eggnog until hot but not boiling, then pour over white chocolate and butter.
  2. Let sit 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.
  3. Stir in vanilla, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Chill mixture until firm enough to scoop.
  5. Roll into balls and freeze briefly.
  6. Melt dark chocolate and dip truffles.
  7. Set on parchment and garnish as desired.

Notes

For best flavor, allow truffles to rest 24 hours before serving.
