Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
Cream Sauce
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp crushed red pepper flakes optional
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear chicken breasts for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  5. Whisk flour into the skillet and cook for 1 minute.
  6. Slowly whisk in chicken broth and simmer until slightly thickened.
  7. Stir in heavy cream, parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
  8. Simmer gently until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
  9. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top.
  10. Simmer 5 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

Freshly grated parmesan melts best and creates the smoothest sauce. Serve with pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
