  • 1 lb cheese tortellini
  • 1 lb sirloin steak sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.75 cup beef broth
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese grated

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear seasoned steak until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. Lower heat, add butter and garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Deglaze pan with beef broth, then stir in cream and seasonings.
  4. Add tortellini, cover, and simmer until tender.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese until sauce thickens.
  6. Return steak to skillet, toss gently, and heat through before serving.

Notes

Best served immediately while the sauce is creamy and the steak is tender.
