Ingredients
  

  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough 8 oz
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage pork or turkey
  • 6 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1.5 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook breakfast sausage in a skillet until browned; drain excess grease.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and press evenly into the baking dish, sealing seams.
  4. Spread cooked sausage over dough and top with shredded cheese.
  5. Whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper together, then pour over the casserole.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until eggs are set and top is golden brown.
  7. Cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

For a veggie version, add diced peppers or spinach before baking.
