- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with foil. Place a wire rack on top.
- Pat chicken wings dry thoroughly with paper towels.
- Mix baking powder, salt, pepper, and spices in a bowl.
- Toss wings with olive oil and seasoning mixture until evenly coated.
- Arrange wings on rack in a single layer.
- Bake 20 minutes, flip, then bake another 20–25 minutes until crispy.
- Simmer BBQ sauce ingredients in a saucepan for 5–7 minutes.
- Toss baked wings with sauce and return to oven for 5–8 minutes to caramelize.
- Serve hot with dips if desired.
Notes
For extra crispiness, refrigerate seasoned wings uncovered for 1 hour before baking.
