Ingredients
  

Waffle Batter
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1.75 cups milk
  • 0.5 cup butter melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Cinnamon Filling
  • 0.5 cup butter softened
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
Glaze
  • 1.5 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2-3 tbsp milk

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat waffle iron and grease lightly.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Whisk wet ingredients separately and combine with dry mixture.
  4. Prepare cinnamon filling and transfer to piping bag.
  5. Pour batter, pipe filling swirl, and top with more batter.
  6. Cook until golden brown and crisp.
  7. Mix glaze ingredients until smooth.
  8. Drizzle glaze over waffles and serve warm.

Notes

Avoid overfilling waffles to prevent overflow. Best served fresh and warm.
