- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix crust ingredients and press into pie dish. Bake 10 minutes and cool.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla, sour cream, and cream.
- Pour filling into crust and bake 45 minutes.
- Cool gradually and refrigerate at least 4 hours.
- Make caramel by melting sugar, adding butter and cream, then salt.
- Pour caramel over chilled cheesecake and serve.
