Method
- Heat oil in a heavy pot or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Combine wet and dry ingredients to form a smooth batter.
- Dip Oreos one by one into batter, coating fully.
- Fry 3–4 Oreos at a time for 2–3 minutes until golden brown. Turn once for even frying.
- Remove with slotted spoon, drain on paper towels, and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Serve immediately for the best texture. Can be reheated in an air fryer for 2 minutes if needed.
