Ingredients
  

Batter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.75 cup milk
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
For Frying
  • 15 Oreo cookies regular or Double Stuf
  • 2-3 cups vegetable oil for deep frying
  • powdered sugar for dusting

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Deep fryer or pot
  • Whisk
  • Slotted spoon

Method
 

  1. Heat oil in a heavy pot or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Combine wet and dry ingredients to form a smooth batter.
  4. Dip Oreos one by one into batter, coating fully.
  5. Fry 3–4 Oreos at a time for 2–3 minutes until golden brown. Turn once for even frying.
  6. Remove with slotted spoon, drain on paper towels, and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Serve immediately for the best texture. Can be reheated in an air fryer for 2 minutes if needed.
