Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries diced
  • 12-16 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 egg beaten, for sealing
  • oil for frying
  • powdered sugar for dusting

Method
 

  1. Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in diced strawberries.
  2. Place 1–2 tbsp filling in the center of each wrapper. Fold edges inward, roll tightly, and seal with beaten egg.
  3. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a skillet or deep fryer.
  4. Fry wontons in batches until golden brown and crispy, 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  5. Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with chocolate sauce and serve warm.

Notes

For a lighter option, try air frying at 375°F for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway. Swap strawberries for other fruits as desired.
