Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups cooked chicken shredded or cubed
  • 8 oz egg noodles cooked and drained
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 oz
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese divided
  • 0.5 cup chopped onion
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.75 cup breadcrumbs or crushed butter crackers for topping
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped, optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook egg noodles according to package directions until al dente; drain.
  3. In a large bowl, combine both soups, sour cream, milk, onion, and seasonings.
  4. Stir in cooked noodles and chicken, mixing until evenly coated.
  5. Fold in half the cheese and pour mixture into baking dish. Top with remaining cheese.
  6. Mix breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over top.
  7. Bake 30–35 minutes until golden and bubbly. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

For best results, use rotisserie chicken and fresh noodles. Add vegetables or herbs to customize flavor.
