  • 400 g ziti pasta
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cook pasta until al dente and drain.
  3. Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil.
  4. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in marinara sauce and seasonings.
  6. Layer pasta, ricotta, meat sauce, and cheeses in baking dish.
  7. Bake covered for 20 minutes, then uncovered for 15 minutes.
  8. Rest before serving.
