Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 2 cups crushed graham crackers or digestive biscuits
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
Dulce de Leche
  • 2 cans sweetened condensed milk
Filling & Topping
  • 3 ripe bananas sliced
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream cold
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Simmer unopened cans of condensed milk fully submerged in water for 2½–3 hours. Cool completely.
  2. Mix crushed biscuits with melted butter and press into a pie dish. Chill until firm.
  3. Spread cooled dulce de leche evenly over the crust.
  4. Layer banana slices over caramel.
  5. Whip cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  6. Top pie with whipped cream and chill before serving.

Notes

Best assembled close to serving time for optimal banana freshness.
