Ingredients
  

Energy Bite Mixture
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 0.5 cup almond butter
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 0.25 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 0.25 cup chopped almonds
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1-2 tbsp milk optional if mixture is dry

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl combine rolled oats, cocoa powder, chopped almonds, and sea salt.
  2. Add almond butter, honey, and vanilla extract.
  3. Stir until the mixture becomes thick and evenly combined.
  4. Fold in mini chocolate chips.
  5. Add milk if needed to achieve a slightly sticky consistency.
  6. Roll the mixture into tablespoon-sized balls.
  7. Place bites on a tray and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  8. Serve chilled or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

For extra flavor roll the bites in cocoa powder, crushed almonds, or shredded coconut before chilling.
