Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
Creamy Garlic Sauce
  • 6 slices bacon chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup corn kernels
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes optional

Method
 

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken until golden brown on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook chopped bacon in the same skillet until crispy. Remove bacon and leave some grease in the pan.
  4. Add butter and garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant.
  5. Stir in corn kernels and cook briefly before adding chicken broth and heavy cream.
  6. Mix in parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning until the sauce becomes creamy.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet and simmer until fully cooked.
  8. Top with cheddar cheese, cover until melted, then garnish with bacon and parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted vegetables for a complete comfort food dinner.
