Method
- Place onions and garlic in slow cooker.
- Add brisket and sprinkle spice packet over top.
- Pour broth around meat.
- Cook on LOW 8-9 hours.
- Add potatoes and carrots 2 hours before done.
- Add cabbage during last hour.
- Rest meat 10-15 minutes before slicing against grain.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a splash of apple cider vinegar or stout beer.
