Ingredients
  

Jam Base
  • 12 oz fresh cranberries
  • 3 cups strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.25 tsp cloves optional
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Add cranberries, strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and orange zest to the slow cooker and stir to combine.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours, stirring occasionally, until fruit is very soft.
  3. Use an immersion blender to blend to desired consistency.
  4. Stir in cinnamon, cloves, and vanilla extract.
  5. Cook uncovered on high for 30–60 minutes until thickened.
  6. Cool slightly and transfer to jars. Refrigerate or freeze.

Notes

Jam thickens as it cools. Adjust sweetness or spices to taste.
