Easy Crockpot Salsa Chicken (4 Ingredients!)

Main Ingredients
  • 1.5 lbs chicken breasts
  • 16 oz salsa 1 jar
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 4 oz cream cheese optional

Equipment

  • Slow cooker
  • Mixing bowls
  • Two forks

Method
 

  1. Place chicken breasts into the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Pour salsa over the chicken and sprinkle taco seasoning on top.
  3. Cook on LOW 5–6 hours or HIGH 2.5–3 hours.
  4. Remove chicken, shred with two forks, and return to the slow cooker.
  5. Stir in cream cheese if using until melted and creamy.
  6. Serve in tacos, bowls, nachos, or wraps.

Notes

Use your favorite salsa type: fire-roasted, chunky red, or salsa verde.
