Ingredients
  

Crostini Base
  • 1 baguette sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove halved
Whipped Ricotta
  • 1.5 cups whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 3 tbsp heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp sea salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
Toppings
  • 3 tbsp truffle honey
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves for garnish
  • 0.25 tsp flaky sea salt for garnish
  • 0.25 tsp cracked black pepper for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange baguette slices on the baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
  3. Bake for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
  4. Rub warm crostini lightly with the cut side of the garlic clove.
  5. In a food processor or bowl, combine ricotta, heavy cream, Parmesan, olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper.
  6. Blend or whip until smooth, fluffy, and creamy.
  7. Spread whipped ricotta onto toasted baguette slices.
  8. Drizzle generously with truffle honey.
  9. Garnish with thyme, flaky sea salt, and cracked black pepper before serving.

Notes

For best results, assemble the crostini shortly before serving to maintain crisp texture. Add chopped nuts or fresh figs for extra flavor variations.
