Ingredients
  

Pastry Shells
  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
Strawberry Cream Filling
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup strawberries finely chopped

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Baking sheet
  • Wire rack
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out puff pastry and cut into 1-inch strips.
  3. Wrap strips around cone molds to form horn shapes.
  4. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sugar.
  5. Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Cool and remove molds carefully.
  7. Whip cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  8. Fold in strawberries gently.
  9. Pipe filling into cooled pastry horns.
  10. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.

Notes

For best texture, fill just before serving to keep pastry crisp.
