- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the unbaked crust in a 9-inch pie dish.
- In a bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
- Sift in cocoa, flour, and salt. Stir until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the pie crust and spread evenly.
- Bake 35–40 minutes until edges are firm and center is slightly soft.
- Cool for 20 minutes before serving warm with ice cream.
Notes
For a richer flavor, add espresso powder or swirl in caramel before baking.
