Method
- Line a tray or plate with parchment paper.
- Combine crushed wafer cookies, chocolate hazelnut spread, chopped hazelnuts, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract in a bowl.
- Mix until a thick dough-like consistency forms.
- Flatten a tablespoon of mixture in your hand and place a whole hazelnut in the center.
- Wrap the mixture around the hazelnut and roll into a ball.
- Freeze the chocolate balls for 20 to 30 minutes until firm.
- Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil until smooth.
- Dip each chilled ball into melted chocolate and coat with chopped hazelnuts.
- Allow chocolates to set completely before serving.
