Ingredients
  

Soup Base
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tsp dashi granules
  • 3 tbsp miso paste white or yellow
  • 0.5 cup tofu cubed
  • 1 tbsp dried wakame seaweed
  • 2 green onions sliced

Equipment

  • Small bowl

Method
 

  1. Heat water in a saucepan over medium heat and dissolve dashi granules.
  2. Add dried wakame and allow it to rehydrate.
  3. Gently add cubed tofu to the broth.
  4. Mix miso paste with warm broth until smooth, then stir into soup.
  5. Heat gently without boiling, then remove from heat.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve warm.

Notes

Do not boil after adding miso to preserve flavor and nutrients.
