Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare pastry dough and chill for at least 1 hour.
- Cook strawberry filling until thick and cool completely.
- Roll dough, cut rectangles, fill, seal, and crimp edges.
- Brush with egg wash and bake 20-25 minutes until golden.
- Cool completely, glaze, and allow to set before serving.
Notes
Chill assembled pop tarts for 15 minutes before baking for extra flakiness.
