Main Ingredients
  • 14 oz smoked sausage sliced
  • 1 cup jasmine rice uncooked
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Wooden spoon
  • Measuring cups

Method
 

  1. Brown sausage in skillet and set aside.
  2. Sauté onion and garlic.
  3. Toast rice lightly.
  4. Add broth, honey, soy sauce and sausage.
  5. Cover and simmer 18-20 minutes.
  6. Rest, fluff and garnish before serving.

Notes

Adjust honey level to taste. Add vegetables for variation.
