Main Ingredients
  • 500 g beef chuck cubed
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger grated
  • 2 carrots chopped
  • 2 potatoes cubed
  • 4 cups water or broth
  • 3 cubes Japanese curry roux

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Brown beef in oil and set aside.
  2. Cook onions until soft, then add garlic and ginger.
  3. Add beef and vegetables, then pour in liquid.
  4. Simmer until ingredients are tender.
  5. Stir in curry roux until thickened.
  6. Serve hot with rice.
