Banana Bread Batter
  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 eggs large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.33 cup milk or yogurt
  • 0.75 cup chopped nuts walnuts or pecans
  • 0.5 cup raisins

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Mix mashed bananas with melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  5. Stir in milk or yogurt.
  6. Fold in dry ingredients gently until just combined.
  7. Fold in nuts and raisins.
  8. Bake 55–65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.

Notes

Use very ripe bananas for best flavor and moisture.
