Ingredients
  

Oreo Crust
  • 24 Oreo cookies crushed
  • 5 tbsp unsalted butter melted
Peppermint Cheesecake Filling
  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream cold
  • 0.5 cup crushed candy canes optional

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Crush Oreo cookies and mix with melted butter.
  2. Press mixture into springform pan and chill.
  3. Beat cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Add sugar, peppermint extract, and vanilla.
  5. Whip cream until stiff peaks form.
  6. Fold whipped cream into cheesecake mixture.
  7. Pour over crust and smooth top.
  8. Chill 4–6 hours or overnight until set.

Notes

Best served chilled. Chill overnight for clean slices.
