Easy No-Oven Turkish Bread

Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup warm water adjust as needed

  • Skillet or pan

  • Clean kitchen towel

Method
 

  1. Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until foamy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix into a soft dough.
  3. Knead dough until smooth and elastic.
  4. Let dough rise until doubled in size.
  5. Divide into portions and flatten into discs.
  6. Cook each piece in a hot pan until golden on both sides.
  7. Stack and cover to keep warm before serving.

Notes

You can brush with butter or olive oil for extra flavor.
