Ingredients
  

Chicken Base
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
Orange Sauce
  • 0.5 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp ketchup optional for balance
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with water
  • 0.5 tsp chili flakes optional
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat and cook ground chicken until browned.
  2. Add garlic and ginger and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Whisk together orange juice, zest, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and ketchup.
  4. Pour sauce into skillet and stir to coat chicken evenly.
  5. Simmer for 5–7 minutes to deepen flavor.
  6. Add cornstarch slurry and stir until sauce thickens.
  7. Top with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
  8. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

Best served fresh but stores well for meal prep up to 4 days.
