Ingredients
  

Tilapia
  • 4 fillets tilapia fresh or thawed
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • lemon wedges for serving
  • fresh parsley for garnish

  • Baking sheet

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix parmesan, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Brush tilapia fillets lightly with olive oil or melted butter.
  4. Press each fillet into the parmesan breadcrumb mixture to coat evenly.
  5. Place coated fillets on the prepared baking sheet without touching each other.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until fish flakes easily and crust is golden.
  7. Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Optional: Broil 1–2 minutes for extra crispy topping.
