Ingredients
  

Cookie Batter
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour heat-treated
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2-3 tsp red gel food coloring
  • 2-3 tbsp milk or cream
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup mini chocolate chips
Filling
  • 0.5 cup white chocolate chips melted, for drizzle
  • holiday sprinkles or extra mini chocolate chips optional

Method
 

  1. Heat-treat flour at 300°F (150°C) for 5–6 minutes. Let cool.
  2. Cream softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in cocoa powder, vanilla extract, salt, and red food coloring.
  4. Add cooled flour and mix until dough forms.
  5. Add milk as needed for a soft, pliable dough.
  6. Fold in mini chocolate chips.
  7. Chill dough for 20–30 minutes.
  8. Roll dough into 1-inch bites.
  9. Drizzle with melted white chocolate and add sprinkles if desired.
  10. Let chocolate set before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 2 months.
