- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add egg, milk, vanilla, and food coloring.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients until a soft dough forms.
- Fold in white chocolate hearts gently.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheets and bake 10–12 minutes.
- Press additional white chocolate hearts into warm cookies and cool completely.
Notes
Do not overbake for best texture. Cookies will firm up as they cool.
