Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 250 g ground sausage
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese softened
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
Pastry
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1 egg beaten

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix sausage, cheese, cream cheese, parsley, garlic powder, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Roll out puff pastry into a rectangle.
  4. Spread filling evenly over the pastry.
  5. Roll tightly into a log.
  6. Slice into 1-inch pinwheels.
  7. Place on baking sheet and brush with egg.
  8. Bake 18–22 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

Keep pastry cold for best results. Customize with different cheeses or spices.
