Ingredients
  

Main
  • 500 g pork cubed
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 tbsp oil
Sauce
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Equipment

  • Large skillet or wok
  • Mixing bowls
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Method
 

  1. Cook rice and set aside.
  2. Brown pork in oil until cooked through.
  3. Remove pork and sauté garlic, ginger, and pineapple.
  4. Add sauce ingredients and simmer.
  5. Thicken with cornstarch slurry.
  6. Return pork and coat in sauce.
  7. Serve over rice and garnish.

Adjust sweetness and spice level to preference.
