Truffle Base
  • 1 strawberry cake baked and cooled
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
Coating
  • 12 oz white chocolate melting wafers
  • 6 oz pink candy melts optional
  • 2 tbsp freeze-dried strawberries crushed, optional garnish

Method
 

  1. Crumble cooled strawberry cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl.
  2. Mix in softened cream cheese until fully combined and smooth.
  3. Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Refrigerate truffles for at least 30 minutes until firm.
  5. Melt white chocolate wafers according to package instructions.
  6. Dip chilled truffles into melted chocolate and coat completely.
  7. Garnish immediately if desired and allow coating to set before serving.
