Ingredients
  

Cheesecake Filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.33 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries diced
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
Assembly
  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  2. Toss strawberries with cornstarch and fold into mixture.
  3. Place filling on wrapper and roll tightly, sealing with egg.
  4. Heat oil to 350°F and fry 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
  5. Drain on paper towels and coat with sugar or powdered sugar.

Notes

Best served warm. Can be baked or air fried for lighter option.
